The greens are somewhat flat. Water comes into play on eleven holes, including #18, a 545-yard, par 5, which has a small pond to the left of the fairway and one tucked in front of the green. The pride and joy of the course is their rough which is a hellish fescue combination. There are a number of mature trees around the course, as well as a waterfall. Wildlife seen at the course includes deer, geese and raccoons. The course was rated the ninth most challenging course out of twenty in the Akron/Stark County by the "Akron Beacon Journal." This club was expanded to 27 holes in 2001.
